"Oh. My. Goodness! The jacket fits like it was made for me. Well, I guess it WAS made for me, but you did an incredible job tweaking the measurements from the fit jacket!
The leather is a little lighter color when it’s made into a jacket, vs the little swatch of it… but that’s exactly what I was hoping for. The grain. The feel. The smell. It’s simply perfect!
This is the kind of leather that is beautiful because of its natural characteristics. I found a small scar that the steer must have had, and I feel for him (I’ve snagged myself on barbed wire too). Finger nail scratches show up, but they don’t detract or take away from the beauty. This thing is going to age like nothing else! All of the details are right. The lining is just wonderful, and I’m so happy I ordered the matching tie.
The Sheene has that pointed, western style yoke in the back that just plain works for me. I’ve got a pair of boots and a belt that will complement the jacket nicely, without looking like a cast member from a Western movie.
...the fit and style are exactly as I had hoped they would be. This leather is supple and nice right out of the box, much softer and easier to move in than the black FQHH of the tester jacket." -M.C.

"Got the jacket today. Noticed it was sewn by Toni who had sewn up my last jacket. The fit is spot on right out of the box. Initial impressions: Fit is fantastic right out of box. ...this jacket is just ever so slightly more roomy in the shoulders, obviously aided by the back design, which I really like. Construction is perfect, leather quality is great, sewing top notch. I really like the design, fit and feel of the jacket and my optional selections. Had a slight twinge of regret not getting olive stitching vs. the black I selected, but remembered I wanted it to look more like a functional piece than a show piece with contrast, etc. Was expecting the midnight blue leather to show a bit more blue, but the obvious upside is that the dye presents on the hide a bit like a tea-core so I’m sure the contrast with wear will give a nice patina. It’s really not quite black, not quite blue, sorta greyish, but with wear will be something else entirely. Not an obvious color to pin down when you look at it. Overall, thanks again. It is so rewarding to receive a piece like this and have the fit be right." -R.B.

"I received my jacket on Friday, well got it Thursday but I was out of town. It is the perfect weight especially with the light cotton lining and exactly what I was looking for! The fit is very good. "Just wanted to say that the jacket is fantastic. It fits great, all of the little quirks I had with the fit jacket are resolved in this one. It's rather stiff, to be sure, but not in a way that really matters when it's on you. I'm going to wear the hell out of this thing and I imagine that it'll break in pretty nicely after a year or two. Also, I know I said I'd probably not wear it on my bike, but we've got some unseasonably warm weather here right now and so I went out for a ride in it yesterday and it felt great. If I get any decent pics in it I'll be sure to send them over. I know it's on the plain side, aesthetically speaking, compared to a lot of the stuff that comes through your shop, but that sort of clean simplicity is exactly what I was looking for." -A.G.
