Aero's Premier 1930s Half Belt is an entirely new slim fit in Aero's catalog.

The shape comes from an original 1920s mackinaw in Aero's archives, but it works perfectly with a zipper. The collar is quite different from Aero's original 1930s Half Belt collar--it sits more upright to the neck curve, the points are slimmer and the whole neck area has a streamlined, fitted look. Although the armholes are cut much higher than any previous Aero jacket, this compliments the tighter upper back and slimmer sleeves. The overall effect is both comfortable and flattering!

The standard chest pocket zipper for this range is a high grade Japanese repro of the old looped ball zipper of the 1930s. The main zipper is either a Japanese replica Hookless grommet zipper in alloy or brass, or a Talon bell pull with a sunburst box.
