Every Thurston Bros custom jacket order includes the use of a fit jacket and a professional fit consultation.  Fit consultation includes chest circumference evaluation as well as shoulder width and waist circumference recommendations.  Additionally, the fit jacket is used to determine custom body and sleeve lengths.  All fit recommendations are based on using the fit jacket as a measuring tool for the custom build.  Please keep in mind that three customers with the same body measurements will choose three different sizes in the same style (one chooses a tight fit, another prefers a regular fit and the third wants a roomier fit).  The fit jacket consultation makes it easy for each customer to get the fit and lengths they desire!

 

The Hercules is a more detailed version of the typical American long half belted jacket. The front of the jacket has a deep cord effect detail starting at the upper chest and running downwards to the bottom of the coat/jacket.

There are five pockets: two side pockets and two large patch pockets with lovely curved detail on pocket flap, and one angled breast pocket. The sleeves have a typical American false cuff and are fitted standard with an inner knit wool "storm cuff." The back has a longer "Cossack/Half Belt" type styling with belt and buckle side fastenings.

The Aero Hercules can be custom built in a variety of leathers, including Vicenza Italian veg-tanned horsehide, Goatskin, Chromexcel Steerhide, and Chromexcel FQHH.

Like all Aero jackets, the Hercules can be ordered with a variety of linings, hardware finishes/styles, and thread colors. Interior pockets are also available. Click HERE for more information on ordering a custom Aero jacket!
